Wood Street Plaza

Get along to the Plaza in Wood Street to see how our Council is saving money. This amazing monument to local authority's insistence on ignoring resident's views and creating white elephants (in this case white granite!) has to be be seen to be believed - oh and don't forget your swimming things for a dip in the fountains!!

£1.8m was allocated for the improvements to Wood Street but the rest of the project seems to have died as no officer can say what the next stage is which was to have started this month!

Does that mean £1.8m has been spent on the Plaza which is 2 months over schedule?
