Footpath from Queens Road Station to Walthamstow Central

Here is the latest on the footpath that will be created from Queens Road Station to Walthamstow Central station after many years fighting the housing association that owns the flats in Exeter Road. The route will be adjacent to the Chingford -Liverpool Street line and the new development that has started being constructed on the Walthamstow Station Car Park.

Sisk Construction have been appointed to construct the new link from Exeter Road to the Queens Road Station footbridge. Work is programmed to start on site in February. New Oyster readers will be installed and the new Queens Road station entrance from Exeter Road should become operational in May.
