Civic Society

The Society was founded in 1972 as the Leyton Society and renamed itself when its activities spread across the Borough. The society is a voluntary community body. Its income comes entirely from annual subscriptions and donations from its members.

 

We monitor Planning Applications and oppose those that we believe will  spoil the area whether it be from over development or poor design.
